Outpatient Physical Therapy

St. Vincent’s Physical Therapists offer evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, women’s health and injuries that affect your ability to move and function.

Various evaluation tools and treatment methods are offered including: 

  • Therapeutic exercise: bodily movement prescribed to correct impairment or improve musculoskeletal function.
  • Thermal modalities: using hot and cold stimulation to promote healing
  • Manual therapy/ bodywork: can include massage, mobilization and manipulation
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Parkinson’s Rehab
  • Preventing falls and alleviating the fear of falling through balance training
  • Traction: to guide a fractured or dislocated body part and/or prevent painful muscle spasms.
  • Biofeedback
  • Therapeutic Ultrasound: increases in tissue relaxation, local blood flow, and scar tissue breakdown.
  • Iontophoresis: delivering anti-inflammatory medications with a low electrical current
