Hospice Care

Hospice is a type of care specifically for terminally ill patients who may only have months, weeks or days to live. People who receive hospice care are no longer receiving treatments to cure the underlying illness. Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life and is designed to help people have a pain-free life.

Who is a candidate?

Age and illness severity do not limit patients from palliative care. Patients can also receive palliative care while being treated for the underlying condition.
