Dr. Julie Kellogg grew up in California and graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara before attending medical school and completing her residency. She was active duty in the Navy and stationed in Lemoore, California where she was the Chairman of the Pediatric Department. She came to Jacksonville in 2000 and spent 16 years as a Pediatrician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, first as active duty military and then in a civilian capacity. She was active in many committees and served as Chair of Pediatrics during part of her time there. She was awarded for her work in assisting the hospital in achieving its Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative designation. She joined St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Center in 2016.
Dr. Kellogg currently serves on the St. Vincent’s Care Excellence Committee, the Partnership for Child Health, and the NE Florida Pediatric Society. Some of her areas of interest are asthma management, ADHD, breastfeeding education and support, and preventive care. She is also committed to community outreach and providing care to children who may be medically underserved.
Dr. Kellogg is married and has four children. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, exercising, reading and watching or going to FSU football games. She volunteers with Grace Anglican Church’s Soul in the City every summer and is happy for opportunities to travel, especially back to her home state of California!
