Kim Hodgkinson has been named the chief financial officer for the St. Vincent’s HealthCare system. Hodgkinson, who comes to St. Vincent’s from the St. Mary’s Health System in Evansville, Ind., begins her new duties on Jan. 13.

“I am honored that Kim is joining our team. She has a wealth of healthcare experience with a proven track record of contributing to the financial success of health systems where she has served. Kim’s focus on financial planning and improving processes will be extremely beneficial as she leads our system’s finance team," Moody Chisholm, CEO and president of St. Vincent’s, said in a news release.

Hodgkinson, whose role includes finance and revenue oversight, information systems, and strategic development, holds a master of business administration degree in finance and a master of arts in nuclear physics.

Prior to joining the St. Vincent’s team, Hodgkinson served as a senior vice president and chief financial officer for St. Mary’s, an ascension health ministry, where she helped lead a 500-bed acute care hospital, a critical access hospital, home health services, and managed care.

Before that, Hodgkinson was the executive director of financial planning and reimbursement in Milwaukee and held finance roles at two other Catholic healthcare systems.

“I am looking forward to working with them and helping them to grow their ministry and footprint in Northeast Florida," Hodgkinson said.
