Breast Health Advocate
St. Vincent’s Breast Health Advocate Program was created in 2002 to support you if you are in need of a breast biopsy . Since the origination of this program, it has been highly successful in guiding women through the myriad of treatment options available.
The Breast Health Advocate provides compassionate assistance to guide you through your breast cancer journey. This program is available to all women in our community, regardless of ethnicity or socio-economic status, if you are diagnosed with or suspected of having breast cancer and seeking care at the Josephine H. Bryan Breast Health Center, you have access to this program. Additionally, the Breast Health Advocate offers individual guidance in dealing with issues relating to finance, transportation, physician referrals, support, education and more. She provides support and comfort during biopsies, holds hands, and listens to the fears of her patients.
