• Prostheses for use after a mastectomy or other surgery, fitted by a certified fitter (call for appointment)
• Fashionable swimwear designed specifically for mastectomy support
• Sleepwear
• Lingerie, including bras and camisoles
• Wigs, turbans, and scarves
• Cosmetics, creams, and lotions
• Jewelry
• Cards and other inspirational gifts
• Cancer awareness products
• In-house wig salon with a licensed professional to offer fitting and solutions to common problems facing hair loss
• Gift certificates

American Cancer Society (Satellite Office)

The American Cancer Society satellite office located at the Walk of Hope has a wealth of resources for families dealing with the diagnosis of cancer. Our group of volunteers provides resources such as referral and support services, Internet access, and gently used wigs, turbans, prostheses, scarves, and hats to every cancer patient and their families.

St. Vincent's HealthCare's affiliation with the American Cancer Society goes back many years. Together, we provide services and resources for patients during a very difficult time in their lives. St. Vincent's HealthCare associates actively serve on the American Cancer Society (ACS) Board and committees, and ACS volunteers staff an office at the Walk of Hope to provide wigs, educational materials, and general information. In addition to providing information in the ACS office, the volunteers visit with patients in the departments where patients are receiving treatments and on the in-patient units.
