Patient Satisfaction At St. Vincent's HealthCare
We Put Our Patients First...And It Shows
In order to provide the excellent quality of care patients deserve, St. Vincent's HealthCare (SVHC) contracts with Professional Research Consultants, Inc., (PRC), an independent third-party research firm, to conduct ongoing patient satisfaction surveys.
During the past 20 years, PRC has worked with more than 1,200 hospitals and health systems. The results of PRC surveys are compared to hospital patient satisfaction surveys across the country, providing us with a picture of how we're doing. The survey results and comparisons help us to identify opportunities for improvement and put in place action plans to meet the needs and expectations of our patients.
Top Performers at SVHC
For 2009, the following SVHC areas were awarded the Five Star Award of Excellence by PRC for being in the Top 10% nationally for excellent patient service:
- Chartrand Heart & Vascular Center
- Outpatient Radiation Oncology
- Mary Virginia Terry Breast Center, Outpatient Services
- Outpatient Surgical Services
For 2009, the following SVHC area was awarded the Four Star Award of Excellence by PRC for being in the Top 25% nationally for excellent patient service:
- St. Luke's Hospital's Emergency Department
