Come see what makes St. Vincent's HealthCare different. We offer numerous amenities and services to help make your experience at St. Vincent's Medical Center Riverside or St. Vincent's Medical Center Southside, formerly St. Luke's Hospital a pleasant one.

St. Vincent's Riverside

St. Vincent's Riverside has two dining facilities located on campus.

The Dillon Café, located on the first floor of the Dillon Building, is open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Berg's Bistro, located on the first floor of the DePaul Building, is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

St. Vincent's Southside

St. Vincent's Southside cafeteria, located on the ground floor, is open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

Pastoral Care

Taking care of each individual's mind, body and spirit is at the core of St. Vincent's HealthCare's (SVHC) mission. As such, our Pastoral Care department is available to you or your family members at any time for prayer, conversation or company. Our team includes Catholic Priests, Protestant Ministers, Lay Chaplains and Sisters of the Daughters of Charity and other Catholic religious congregations. We also encourage you to invite your own priest, minister, rabbi or other faith leader to visit you while you are hospitalized.

In addition, SVHC offers a Prayer Team that will pray with you at your request. To request prayer through the Prayer Team, tell your nurse or call 904-308-7729 (PRAY).

To speak to a member of our Pastoral Care Team, or if you need assistance contacting your faith leader, please tell your nurse.

Hospital Chapels

Chapels are located at St. Vincent's Riverside, St. Vincent's Southside and St. Catherine Labouré Manor on the first floors, near the entrance. The chapels are open daily for all denominations. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Special Needs

If you need an interpreter during your visit, we will make every effort to provide you with one in order to ensure proper communication between you, your physician and the hospital staff. We can also provide you with a specialized phone service that provides immediate translation free of charge. If you require any specific aids because of a disability, such as a TDD telephone communications device for the deaf, or if you need any type of translation service, please let your nurse know.

  • Tour the Family Birth Place St. Vincent's Southside

    The Family Birth Place at St. Vincent's Southside offers free tours of our private maternity suites and post partum unit every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. The Family Birth Place includes our post partum unit and our staff are committed to the care of our families. Mother/baby couplets will be transferred to our secure post partum unit according to room availability.

  • Breastfeeding Class at St. Vincent's Riverside

    Attend this one session before the 9th month of pregnancy. Learn the benefits of breastfeeding, how to prepare for breastfeeding, how to get started, how fathers can help and tips on continuing after you go home.

  • Mobile Mammography

    St. Vincent's Mobile Mammography Brings Breast Health Screening to You! Call 904-308-5490.

  • Sibling Class at St. Vincent's Riverside

    This free class is for big brothers and big sisters from 4 to 9 years old to prepare for their new baby sibling.

  • Tour of the Family Birth Place Riverside

    Attend this free tour any time before your 9th month of pregnancy. You will experience a short presentation where you will learn where to go when you are in labor and what to expect while you are in the hospital.
