Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons, with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually-centered holistic care, which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and our words.

History

St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation is a not-for-profit, philanthropic organization established in 1982 that is committed to enhancing the current and future healthcare needs of Jacksonville and the surrounding area.

Since its inception, the Foundation has provided financial assistance of more than $1 million each year in support of the mission of St. Vincent’s HealthCare.

Serving as a liaison between St. Vincent’s HealthCare and our family of generous donors, the Foundation is rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer and devoted to putting our commitment to philanthropy into action. The Foundation supports St. Vincent’s Community Outreach Ministries, capital building and equipment needs for St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside, St. Vincent’s Medical Center Southside, and St. Catherine Labouré Manor, as well as various medical programs. 

Looking to the Future

Drawing on the rich, almost 100-year history of St. Vincent’s HealthCare, the Foundation has now embarked on a new journey – our next 100 years. To continue to provide funding for excellence in patient care for the entire community, St. Vincent’s Foundation has established the Century of Service Fund. This fund will ensure that the technology and equipment needs of our operating rooms and clinical areas continue to be met.
