How to Apply to the Pharmacy Residency Program
All applicants to St. Vincent's Medical Center's PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program must be U.S. citizens or have permanent immigrant status. They must be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida and be employable as associates at St. Vincent's HealthCare. Prospective residents must pass a criminal background check and drug screen, and complete a health screening. Applicants should be licensed in the state of Florida prior to the start of the residency program.

Application Process
All Application materials must be received by January 10.
- Complete St. Vincent’s Medical Center online employee application
- Go to www.jaxhealth.com
- Click on Careers
- Click on View Current Job Openings
- Under SVHC Job Opportunities, select Allied Health, St. Vincent’s, Full-Time, and click on Search
- Click on Pharmacy Resident
- Click on External Applicant and follow the directions to complete the online application
- Submit a formal letter of intent
- Submit current curriculum vitae (CV)
- Send an official copy of college of pharmacy transcript
- Request three (3) letters of recommendations to be sent
- Use the provided form or the ASHP Residency Applicant Recommendation Form
- At least two of the three recommendations should be from clinical pharmacy practitioners who have worked directly with the applicant
- Register for the National Matching Service (www.natmatch.com/ashprmp)
- Only completed applications received by the deadline will be reviewed. Potential candidates will be invited for an on-site interview which will be conducted in January and February.
- Complete the ranking list for the National Matching Service by deadline
