Barbara Cruikshank, MD graduated from Boston University and specializes in family care. A compassionate and hard working physician, she believes in making a difference and treating others with the same level of respect and dedication she would like in return.
I am from the Boston/Virginia area and learned at an early age the importance of caring for the people in my community. I first wanted to become a doctor to serve those less fortunate and that passion is something I’ve carried with me throughout my career. In Northeast Florida, that feeling is as strong as ever.
I’ve always loved the front lines and rolling up my sleeves to help others in need. I believe in treating patients and employees as family, which is probably part of my motivation to become a family physician. I pray that every day I can change a patient’s life for the better and really make a difference.
In my spare time, I enjoy running and working in the yard, but mostly spending time with my family. I’m so proud to call Northeast Florida home and feel blessed to be surrounded by great specialists who truly care about patients and make sacrifices every day for others.
