St. Vincent’s HealthCare (SVHC) encourages associates to grow within their careers by taking advantage of the variety of job opportunities within the SVHC system.
Please read the brief information below before you begin
Viewing Job Openings
1. Click the link Ascension Health Portal to the right of the page.
2. You will be taken to your main page of the portal.
3. Select Associate Self Service on the left side of the page.
4. Click on Job opportunities Job Opportunities
5. This will pull the search page for Ascension Health. By clicking advanced search you may narrow down to the health ministry you are interested in applying for, including the location within the health ministry.
By entering through your Ascension Portal, you will be able to see all positions that are posted for internal and external candidates.
Click on the link titled “Careers” then change posted drop down box from "last month" to "anytime" and select “Search Jobs” on the left side of the page.
You are not required to create a user account to view our open positions.
You may review positions at all of our sites or narrow your search by job type, location, and/or shift. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the yellow “click here to begin” button. When conducting job searches, please be sure to change posted drop down box from "last month" to "anytime".
Note: If you apply externally (not through your Ascension Health Portal) your username and password are the same as your St. Vincent’s user ID and Password login. Do Not Register as a new applicant.
Applying for an Open Position
If you decide to apply for a new position, check the box in front of the position(s) you are interested in applying to and then select "apply for selected jobs" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Your Username and password is the same as you use to login to your SVHC email account. If you have forgotten your username and/or password please contact the Help Desk at 904-308-7565.
Save your entries often! You will be timed out of the session and all portions completed will be erased if you do not save often. Your application is not entered until you click the final submit application button.
You must complete your employment history on the application and/or attach a resume including your St. Vincent’s HealthCare work experience.
After you Apply Online
You may return to your personal associate recruiting pages at any time to view the status of your application or view other opportunities and apply. Login to your portal and view your "Career Tools" so you may better understand what your status options mean. See terminology below:
Applied – You have submitted your application and no action has been taken
Routed – Your application has been routed to the appropriate manager for review
Interviewed – You have been selected to interview or may have already interviewed for the position
Rejected – You have not been selected for this position
Withdrawn – You have contacted Ministry Service Center and/or Human Resources to withdraw your application from the position
