Heart and Vascular
St. Vincent’s HealthCare’s Cardiovascular physicians encourage a collaborative working environment that supports the seasoned technologist as well as the new graduate. Our Cardiovascular Technologists actively participate in Cath Lab procedures and patient care in a closed lab environment. At St. Vincent's HealthCare (SVHC), our Cardiovascular Technologists have the ability to utilize all of their didactic training and knowledge under the guidance of a Cardiovascular Physician Group that consists of seven Interventionalists and approximately 12 Clinical Cardiologists. Cardiovascular Technologists are cross-trained to work at both St. Vincent's Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital's Cath and EP Labs.
The Gary and Nancy Chartrand Heart and Vascular Center located at St. Vincent's Medical Center is a proud recipient of the Five Star Award for Overall Patient Satisfaction, which placed them nationally in the top 10% for excellent patient care.
As part of our commitment to the education of the Cardiovascular Technologist profession, SVHC Cath and EP Labs are clinical sites for Santa Fe Community College Cardiovascular/EP programs, as well as the SVHC Schools of Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Sonography.
