14th Annual Delicious Destinations Event Raises More Than $300,000 for the St. Vincent’s Community Outreach Programs
October 30, 2015
More than $300,000 was raised at the 14th annual Delicious Destinations food and wine event in September, benefiting community outreach programs at St. Vincent’s HealthCare, a ministry of Ascension, the nation’s largest non-profit health system. The programs provide free medical care for underprivileged children and adults throughout the area.
The three-day gourmet food and wine event was held at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and featured executive chefs from some of the most prestigious restaurants and resorts across the South.
“We are thrilled at the success of this year’s event and it wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful celebrity chefs and the patrons of the event,” said St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation President, Jane R. Lanier, CFRE. “We are also incredibly thankful to the co-chairs of this year’s event, Kelley & Steve Kunz, Jennifer & Henry Brown, and Kirsten & Josh Martino. We are already looking forward to next year’s Delicious Destinations.”
St. Vincent’s is committed to community outreach through programs such as our Mobile Health Outreach Ministry, which provides a state-of-the-art doctor’s office on wheels to patients in need. Other programs include our mobile mammography unit and Faith Community Nursing, which focuses on the health and well-being of parishioners in more than 65 area churches of all denominations.
Next year’s Delicious Destinations will be the 15th annual event and the planning process has already begun.
