Fall festival hosted by Farmers Market

The Jacksonville Farmers Market hosts a free two-day fall festival and health fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 1810 W. Beaver St.

The state’s oldest public farmers market joins St. Vincent’s HealthCare for the event, which includes musical entertainment, a kids zone, ponies, face painting, health screenings, classic cars, exhibits, food vendors and arts and crafts. Also scheduled to participate are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jacksonville Armada and Edward Waters College Choir.

The Jacksonville Farmers Market was founded in 1938, and is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
