St. Vincent's receives Medtronic grant

St. Vincent’s HealthCare has received a two-year, $50,000 Health Access Grant from Medtronic Philanthropy to help support programs that provide health care and education to underserved members of the community who would not otherwise have access to safe, quality care.
The grant to St. Vincent’s HealthCare is one of 34 grants awarded in communities around the world in recognition of community-based programs and organizations that demonstrate a commitment to expanding access to chronic disease care for the underserved. The Sulzbacher Center, which provides care for homeless in Jacksonville, also recently received a $50,000, two-year grant from Medtronic Philanthropy.
Medtronic is a national manufacturer of medical equipment with offices in Jacksonville.
