St. Vincent’s HealthCare announced a $500,000 donation from the Reinhold Foundation and family to help support the construction of St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County.
Construction of the $60 million, 221-bed Middleburg hospital at Blanding Boulevard and Branan Field Road began in May. It is expected to open in October
In recognition of the gift, the hospital’s Medical Mall will be named in memory of the family’s grandparents, Paul E. and Klare N. Reinhold.
The Reinhold family has a legacy of loyalty to the community, said Jane R. Lanier, president and chief development officer of St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation.
“The Reinhold name is synonymous with generosity in Clay County and their gift of $500,000 will help us bring our mission of faith-based healing to this community,” Lanier said.
