Featured Chefs Announced for
Delicious Destinations – Jacksonville’s Premier Food & Wine Event Benefiting
St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation
St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation’s ninth annual Delicious Destinations, a three-day event featuring gourmet food prepared by five diamond resort chefs and an array of exceptional international wines, will be held September 9 -11, 2010 at the beautiful and historic Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Vincent’s Community Health Outreach Programs.

On Thursday, September 9 at 11:30 am the spotlight shines on Donald Barickman, founding Executive Chef of Magnolias, Blossom and Cypress Restaurants in Charleston, South Carolina, at the Celebrity Chef by the Sea Champagne Reception and Luncheon. At the event, proudly presented by Heekin Orthopedic Specialists, attendees will enjoy culinary creations demonstrated and presented by Chef Barickman, and prepared by award winning Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Executive Chef, Hermann Muller. Reservations for Thursday’s Celebrity Chef Luncheon are available for $100 per person or $1,000 to reserve a table of ten.
Chef Barickman along with the innovative and outstanding chefs noted above will showcase their culinary talents on Saturday, September 11 at 7 pm at Delicious Destinations – Jacksonville’s Premier Food and Wine Event. Each delectable dish is expertly paired with a variety of exceptional wines from an assortment of select domestic and international vineyards by Southern Wine & Spirits of North Florida. The event also includes live and silent auctions as well as a drawing of unique items including spa and restaurant gift certificates, unique catered dinners, weekend getaways and more.
Reservations for the Saturday food and wine event are available for $250 per person. Sponsorship packages for the September 9-11, 2010 event are available from $2,500 to $50,000 and include reservations for the Saturday event, a special reception with the visiting Delicious Destinations chefs on Friday, Sept. 10, and rooms at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. New this year is the Epicure Sponsorship at $1,200 per couple, which includes two reservations for the September 11 event and a room at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.
Proceeds from the annual event benefit St. Vincent’s Community Health Outreach Programs that provide access to healthcare to underserved and uninsured children and families throughout Northeast Florida. These programs include St. Vincent’s Mobile Health Outreach and Mobile Mammography, School Nurse Program, Parish Nurse Ministry, Seton Center for Women and Infants Health, and St. Vincent’s HealthLink Nurse Call Center.
