To minimize check-in procedures in the Admitting Office, many admission interviews are conducted by telephone. Please call 904.308.7404 to pre-register. Based on your procedure, you will be instructed as to where to go and what to bring.

If possible, on the day you are to arrive, please arrange for a friend or relative to bring you to the hospital. The most convenient place for patients to enter the medical center is through the main entrance on Barrs Street. Wheelchairs are available throughout the facility. Please contact the Concierge (just inside the door), a Security Ambassador, or the Information Desk if you need help.

Patients are asked not to bring: valuables, like jewelry and cash; excessive clothing; alcoholic beverages or illegal substances; radios and televisions; heating pads, electric hair dryers and other small electronic appliances.

St. Vincent's HealthCare is not responsible for lost or misplaced items including dentures, hearing aids, glasses and clothing.
